For the 37th year, the annual parade will bring together veterans and their families for a day of fun. Marching bands, military vehicles and floats will flood downtown Atlanta as thousands of attendees cheers from the sidelines.
The participants will line up at Peachtree Street and Ralph McGill/ Ivan Allen Boulevard and end their trek near Centennial Olympic Park.

Enjoy the music of the 116th Army Band at the entertainment stage. Learn about military service, veterans benefits and military initiatives from AARP, T-Mobile, Georgia Department of Veteran Service, Atlanta Medical Center, USO, American Red Cross, Wreaths Across America, Georgia Aquarium, Armed Forces recruiters, and more! Come see some of the military vehicle displays available for viewing.
The Veterans Day Parade winners for 8-categories will be announced and the awards will be presented at the Veterans Festival. Watch out for the announcement of the Parade winners at our Facebook page, after the Parade ends.
Saturday, November 10, 2018 (6:00 - 10:00 PM) - Ticketed Event
The Freedom Ball is the signature event of the Annual Georgia Veterans Day Events in Downtown Atlanta. Head to the Georgia Aquarium’s Oceans Ballroom, where an estimated 500 people will gather to give thanks to veterans. A social hour, silent auction and dinner are all planned for the formal event.
Master of ceremonies is Wes Sarginson, retired anchor from WXIA-TV Atlanta "11Alive”.
