Revelation becomes inaugural diamond-tier sponsor of the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding

Revelation Pharma is committed to pharmacy compounding, and it's put its support — and its money — where its blog is. The company is now one of the first three "diamond-level" corporate patrons of the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding.

Revelation Pharma is one of the country's largest network of 503A and 503B compounding pharmacies. APC is the largest compounding-specific pharmacy advocacy organization in the U.S. It's a perfect match — good for patients and good for the profession.

"Now more than ever compounding pharmacies, like those in the Revelation Pharma network, need the kind of support and advocacy that APC provides," said Revelation Pharma CEO Shawn Hodges. "So many patients rely on the personalized medicines only compounding pharmacists offer, it's critical that we advocate for them — and no one does that like APC."

While USP is not a regulatory agency and does not carry the force of law, many state boards of pharmacy as well as the FDA recognize USP’s compounding standards as the measure of quality assurance that a compounding pharmacy should follow.

On November 1, 2023, new editions of USP chapters pertaining to nonsterile, sterile, and hazardous drug compounding will become compendially applicable, meaning that they are the most current versions and regulatory agencies may choose to adopt them.

It is important to note that these new editions are not simple modifications but are largely complete re-writes of the current chapters and represent significant

But even if we have a perfect diet, that still doesn’t mean that our bodies can absorb all the necessary nutrients from our food due to poor digestion issues.

When we eat food, our bodies break it down into nutrients like vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. These nutrients are then absorbed from our gut into the bloodstream, where they are circulated throughout our bodies. The prevalence of digestive issues
