Shawn Hodges, PharmD
President & CEO
Upon completion of the fellowship, Shawn has practiced pharmacy in a community setting and worked as a Regional Director for the nation’s largest hospice pharmacy provider. Specifically, he supported health care practitioners in the hospice market by delivering countless hospice medication management consultations and clinical presentations through various state conferences.
Currently, he is a pharmacist and owner of Innovation Compounding, a compounding-only pharmacy located just outside of Atlanta that employs 39 pharmacy team members. Shawn also consults both practitioners and their patients on men’s health, women’s health, and pain management.
A Wellness Advocate
Shawn serves as the President for the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding’s (APC; formerly IACP). APC is a non-profit, advocacy/regulatory focused organization that represents thousands of compounding pharmacist in the United States.
The mission of APC is to protect, promote, and advance the art and science of pharmacy compounding, primarily by networking with state and federal legislators who have a direct impact on patient access to compounded medications.
