In partnership with the local Fielding Lewis Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Innovation Compounding has donated funds to ship care packages overseas for the DAR’s Project Patriot.

The Fielding Lewis Chapter was “organized in Marietta, Georgia, with 17 charter members on April 12, 1904. Ellen Lowell Crosby was the organizing chapter regent, [and] was the great-great-granddaughter of Colonel Fielding Lewis and Betty Washington, who was George Washington’s sister.”

The DAR Project Patriot Committee, which was founded after the events of September 11, 2001, “is the official Daughters of the American Revolution committee that supports America’s service members and their families.” Since its inception, “the DAR Project Patriot Fund has donated over one million dollars to support our troops.” Local DAR chapters have also provided support to Army, Navy, Marine, Air Force, Coast Guard, and National Guard units in the form of personal care items, medical supplies, cards, and gifts.
