We know you have a choice when choosing a compounding pharmacy and our goal is not to be “average” or “good enough,” but the best in the nation. The Innovation Compounding Quality Assurance Team conducts comprehensive, and in-depth quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) measures to ensure that patients receive the highest quality and safest product possible.
To achieve that, we place an extreme emphasis on the quality of our products before, during, and after the compounding process. A compounded preparation will never leave the doors of our pharmacy unless we are 100% certain that it is perfect and of the best quality achievable.
USP Standards & Compliance
USP <800> requires that all personnel who handle hazardous drugs, or HDs, be trained based on their job functions before independently handling HDs and that the effectiveness of training be demonstrated.
Training and competency assessments specific to compounding must follow not only the requirements in USP <800> but also other appropriate USP standards for compounding, including those in chapter <795> for nonsterile compounding and chapter <797> for sterile compounding. Personnel must also be trained and pass competency assessments on the use, maintenance, and cleaning of each piece of equipment, as well as receive training regarding proper labeling, transport, storage, and disposal of HDs and use of safety data sheets based on the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals. All personnel who may be required to clean HD spills must receive proper training in spill management and the use of PPE and NIOSH-certified respirators. Personnel who transport, compound, or administer HDs must also document their training according to Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards and other applicable laws and regulations. 1
A Trusted Name in Pharmacy Compounding
Innovation Compounding holds licenses in nearly every state, satisfying each states’ Board rules for compounding and dispensing products into that state. We achieved Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB) accreditation, a service of ACHC, for meeting best sterile and non-sterile compounding practices—an honor held by only 2% of sterile compounding pharmacies in the U.S. Also, we experienced a recent Food & Drug Administration (FDA) inspection with the FDA finding no reason for a plan of corrective action.
We take pride in our compounding process and always strive to set the bar for excellence.
